   chastising  others
the self-service of triumph
opinions and conjectures
The need to control and dictate
other’s behaviors and mannerisms
    a flag waving idiocy 
   this evolution of water hole liaisons 
to social media assessment 
a never ending sink-hole

   becomes inherent  
   with media models
Simon Cowell and Len Goodman
with rocks in hand 
Soraya pummeled by lies
   and stones and more stones
The reckoning of self-righteousness
    sharp edges in palms
    sharp words texted 
    sharp statements posted
for membership on the winning team

The harmful hatred of hearsay 
   and rumor
that picks at innocence
   or mistakes…
the enduring Doomsday
and depression for the victim 
   blankets over a head
   blood in the dirt
All for the prize of one-upmanship.
